- Meet with intern to assist in defining Learning Contract goals and learning tasks and strategies that support them
- Maintain appropriate contact with the student throughout experience to give direction and support

- The Mid-Semester Intern Evaluation form can be used as a basis for discussion at this meeting.
- Meet with student intern at the end of semester to review final evaluation form and assigned work, and to provide closure to the experience.
- Evaluate the student intern’s learning and submit the grade.
We send out and analyze outcomes of the First Destination Survey (FDS). It is a nation-wide survey compiled by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) that captures information about how new graduates fare in their careers within six months after graduation. To utilize this career outcomes data and support its collection:
- Email askcareer@stkate.edu to request FDS data specifically about how students in your department fare post graduation.
- Support efforts to gather robust FDS data that helps us share a compelling and accurate narrative with prospective students about the value of St. Kate’s education. Near the end of each semester when you receive an email from Career Development about the survey, please:
- Talk about this survey with your students so they know what it is when Career Development reaches out to them directly
- Encourage seniors to complete the survey and to share their contact information with Career Development before they graduate
