Career and Future Readiness Project Specialist
Emily manages the Career and Future Readiness Project that was made possible by the Strengthening Institutions Program (SIP) grant St. Kate’s received in October 2019. This project expands career readiness programming all throughout the campus.
In the Career Development Center she coordinates the Professional Development Program with UpTurnships.

Associate Director of Career Development and Internships
I love to problem-solve and be a career development resource to students and grads. See me with internship questions or to receive help with choosing a major, career planning, resume and job search assistance. I have a breadth of previous experience working in non-profits, healthcare and business that is beneficial to guiding students and grads through the career development process. I can be additionally helpful to alumni that are in the midst of career transition to find a new path or prepare for a new job search.
Career Development Information Specialist
I provide technical support, office management as well as training to students, alumni, faculty and staff. I also manage career technology resources, and collaborate with vendors to determine ongoing technology solutions that keep our resources fresh and interesting.
I am a twice alum of St Kate’s with a BA in Communications Studies and MA in Organizational Leadership. I specialize in Organizational Change, Leadership Development and Information Technology process.

Mary Beth Pickett
Hi, my name is Mary Beth Pickett and I’m the Recruiting Coordinator for the Career Development Office. My job is to help you find work! I do this by organizing our annual Career Fair, helping get our students to other locals Fairs, helping you find on-campus employment, and attracting local/national companies to St. Kate’s. I also help with our Priority Placement program that places first years that receive FAFSA in campus jobs.
I love helping introduce Katie’s to the employment world!
