This is a full-time role for an Investor Relations (IR) Specialist (hybrid). The Specialist will be responsible for all communications to prospective and existing real estate fund and project investors; maintaining strong relationships with investors and internal partners; and acting as the primary contact for investor inquiries. The IR Specialist will be part of an entrepreneurial organization that is growing its portfolio of community real estate funds. You can be part of a team that is helping small communities with their real estate needs, and in the process creating jobs, increasing tax revenues and supporting local businesses.
Essential Job Functions
- Develops and manages content creation for communications to investors and other key stakeholders, including quarterly e-newsletters, presentations, case studies, brochures and other materials.
- Collaborates with General Partners and community leaders to ensure effective communication and help meet targeted investment goals for real estate projects.
- Assists with projects and assignments for Rebound Partners & Rebound Real Estate, REVocity’s parent company
- Supports or leads investor events, including introductory meetings, capital raise events and annual meetings for the real estate funds.
- Supports the capital raising process from start to finish, working closely with the Community Portfolio Manager and Director of Real Estate Capital.
- Tracks and coordinates capital call requirements and communications.
- Manages and updates the organization’s online portal for investors (AppFolio) to complete a wide range of tasks.
- Assists investors with required signatures for legal documents, including responding to questions about legal provisions.
- Serves as the primary contact for investor and prospective investor inquiries. Provides timely responses, creating a positive overall investor experience.
- Maintains database and records for investors and prospective investors.
- Serves as contact for any inbound media inquiries and handles proactive media outreach.
- Collaborates effectively with vendors and agency partners.
- Conducts regular analysis of communication efforts, gathering metrics and feedback to refine strategies and enhance overall effectiveness.
- Identifies areas of improvement related to business processes, aimed at improving overall communications effectiveness.
- Exhibits strong attention to detail and commitment to excellence in communications.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple projects successfully within deadlines.
Qualifications
- Current or recent undergraduate student of a four-year Bachelor degree program in business, economics, communications, journalism, marketing, public relations or related area.
- Self starter with an entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to learn and develop skills.
- Strong ability to work well within a team structure, build strong relationships, resolve conflicts and influence decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple departments.
- Project management and strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Professional business experience in environments that are fast-paced with evolving priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Ability and willingness to travel in the Midwest region.
- Commercial real estate experience a plus.
