This position will provide the evaluation, development, implementation, and management of speech therapy in acute care, swing beds, home health, outpatient, long-term care settings, and contractual agreement services.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinates and provides speech pathology services to include services that are age and educational level appropriate to the patient/family.
- Develops and evaluates appropriate plan of care for patients.
- Administers day-to-day speech therapy services.
- Completes discharge planning and care coordination with other healthcare system departments.
- Supervises speech therapy assistants.
- Maintains timely and appropriate documentation that reflects the care provided and follows regulatory requirements.
- Establishes appropriate charges for services rendered.
- Plans and coordinates patient care schedules to meet productivity standards.
- Ensures equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CCC’s certification from the American Speech and Hearing Association.
Mandatory Basic and Advanced Life Support Training per policy.
