General Description:
The FMS Intern will observe and execute FMS functions that support the Clients and the Direct Support
Professionals at Accra by shadowing, participating, and learning about the various FMS functions.
Essential Functions:
Assist with answering group inboxes.
Review and process client authorizations
Assist with coordinating service delivery and accommodation with other members of the Accra.
Consumer Choice team, including Service Coordinators, Finance team staff, HR staff and others.
Provide technical assistance and information to families.
Ability to maintain a dependable work attendance and engage as part of a collaborative and integrated team.
Assist with other projects as assigned.
Requirements:
1-year experience working with individuals having developmental disabilities; 2-year degree preferred but not required.
Experience working with Waivered Services and/or PCA is a plus.
Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services. Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.

Have effective communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to communicate challenging concepts both in-person, over the phone, and in electronic communication.
