According to the Small Business Administration (SBA), there are 30.2 million small businesses in the U.S. The coronavirus pandemic has left small businesses, both in the U.S. and around the world, reeling from the economic impact of adhering to social distancing guidelines and state-mandated stay-at-home orders. Congress has passed legislation to attempt to help both workers and small businesses, in the form of the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) and the Coronavirus Aid Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act.
