Job Description:
ARS is seeking an intern to develop and implement a comprehensive digital and social media strategy.
Social Media and Digital Content (approx. 90%)
- Work with the Social Media Task Force to develop and implement a long-term comprehensive social media management process to support our brand and mission.
- Repurpose long-form content (e.g., workshop videos, blog posts) into engaging short-form content for social platforms.
- Brainstorm and create original, visually engaging content (images, carousels, quote graphics, stories, etc.) aligned with the brand voice.
- Monitor trends, best practices, and platform updates to help grow audience and engagement.
- Track and report performance metrics (e.g., reach, engagement, follower growth) and recommend adjustments.
Community & Media Outreach (approx. 10%)
- Research and identify potential local news, magazine, podcast, and speaking engagement opportunities.
- Support scheduling and coordination of media and community visibility efforts.
- Assist in outreach efforts for events, interviews, or features that align with the firm’s values and goals.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong understanding of social media platforms: Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and LinkedIn
- Up-to-date on current digital and social trends
- Excellent content editing and writing skills
- Comfortable editing and creating short-form media
- Graphic design or Canva skills preferred
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and work independently
- Open to collaboration and feedback
- Comfortable working with multiple committees and individuals, and reporting to both the board and these committees
