Looking for an internship in sports? We are in search of students who want to work in a fun environment and have a love for the game of hockey. Interns must be enrolled in a college or university and preferably pursuing a major in sports or broadcasting. They must be able to attend all home games and some community events. We ask that you be flexible with your hours. In order to succeed you should be comfortable communicating with large groups of people. We prefer experience with audio and video equipment as well as playback programs but it is not required for the positions.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Communicating with Hockey TV when having technical issues
- Setting up audio and video equipment
- Running Sling Studio in order to display playbacks on the Livestream
Other opportunities you may be given include:
- PA announcing
- color commentating
- Assisting with player or coach interviews
