Looking to get your foot in the door for a mental health career? Look no further! No degree or experience required! We will provide all of the training needed and offer the work experience in a group home environment with 4 adults with serious and persistent mental illness.

RADIAS Health is a non-for-profit agency that provides a harm-reduction and housing first model of treatment for adults diagnosed with a serious and persistent mental illness. We have 15 group homes (residential support services) RSS program in the Twin Cities metro area. In a Mental Health Counselor position, you would offer education, training and support to the residents with their mental health symptoms, dispense medications, teach and coach independent living skills, and implement their treatment goals and plans accordingly.

We have awake overnight positions available – full-time hours either Sunday – Wednesday 11:45am – 8:30am or Thursday – Saturday 10:30a – 8:30am per week. These positions are benefit eligible. $15.25/hour.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma

Preferred:

• 2,000 hours of experience working with individuals with Mental Illness, or
• 2,000 hours working in Corporate Adult Foster Care.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or related field.
