Nexus-Kindred Family Healing has an exciting opportunity for a Vistation Monitor position based in the Central Region of Minnesota out of our Waite Park office.

**COVID-19 Precautions: The safety of our youth, families, employees, and candidates are a top concern. We are following the guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and adapting our processes as changes arise. In an effort to limit physical contact as much as possible all interviews will be conducted via phone or virtual meetings (Zoom).

Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for fostering the development of healthy family relationships and supportive living environments by facilitating visitations and documenting family visits in a supervised and controlled setting, as identified in the service plan and/or Individual Treatment Plan. Part-time, 5-15 hours per week. This position is flexible – you can work any number of days or evenings, between the hours of 8AM – 8PM, Mon – Sat.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 2000 hours experience working in Human Services field, working with children and families preferred. Degree in the Human Service field, or in the process of obtaining a degree in the Human Service field. Ability to work days, evenings and weekends. Valid driver’s license required. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong problem solving and conflict resolutions skills.
