The purpose of this position is to work with patients who have hearing, balance, and related ear problems. Using technology and computers this position provides essential hearing services to adult and pediatric patients, ages four and above. This position reports directly to Director of Clinic Operations. The Audiologist has contact with physicians, community personnel, patients and their families. Effective interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this position. This position requires the ability to handle the emotional needs of patients and their families, which may be demanding at times. Access to sensitive, confidential information requires the utmost confidence; must be able to maintain those confidences.
To perform in this position satisfactorily requires a Current Minnesota state Audiologist license. Must be a graduate of a degree program accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association or the American Academy of Audiology. Must have acquired a minimum of one year acute care, outpatient, home health, or clinic experience.
Shifts: 80 hours biweekly, Days.
