Direct Care Staff Positions with Hope Harbor
Hope Harbor is seeking applicants for our Direct Care Staff. Direct Care Staff positions are direct-care service as a mentoring/parenting model to teens ages 12-17 in a family style setting (males in our Parker, SD site and females in our Winona and Marshall, MN sites).
Applicants must be age 21 or older and must pass a background check. Ideal applicants may have a background of work experience, volunteer experience and/or education in youth coordinating, youth mentorship, teens and families, social work, psychology, sociology, criminal justice, education, ministry or related fields of education or experience and a desire to support family reconciliation and healing of teens in a Christian ministry.
Position is paid hourly with part time and full-time positions available. Weekday and weekend hours are available. Weekday hours include 3pm-12am and 12am-8am (awake overnight). Weekend hours include 8am-4pm, 4pm-12am, and 12am-8am (awake overnight).
Duties include providing a Christ-centered, safe environment for teens to heal in a program centered on the teachings of the bible. Direct Care Staff serve in a mentoring/parenting role as they run the shift and daily activities with the teens. This includes site upkeep, meal prep, activities, recreation, studies, conflict resolution, service projects and more as teens learn to live healthy, productive lives with the supervision and guidance of staff.
