Salary Range: $17.17 – $20.20 Hourly
Guild believes that dignity is a basic human right- which is why we work hard to connect individuals to proper mental health treatment, competitive employment, and stable housing. We serve individuals 16 and older who are experiencing serve and persistent mental illness, mental illness concerns, and chronic homelessness. On any given day, Guild staff serves nearly 900 individuals in the Twin Cities metro area. Services are mobile, provided in the community when and where needed. By looking at the holistic wellness of each client we serve, we are able to facilitate healing, growth, and new quality of life.
This position has general maintenance responsibilities that include building, mechanical, grounds, light electrical, furnishings, appliances and vehicles at office and residential properties owned and leased by the organization in order to ensure the safety, health, and comfort of clients and staff keeping the integrity of the properties.
Knowledge of and skill in diagnosing, correcting or otherwise addressing maintenance problems and needs with buildings and systems of varied ages; that include, but are not limited to, office and residential plumbing, heating, electrical, fire alarm system, grounds, furnishings, appliances, carpentry, painting, and locks/keys.
A valid Class ‘D’ Driver’s License, reliable vehicle, satisfactory driving record and necessary insurance.
Occasionally work in confined spaces, lift and carry heavy weights that could be up to or even exceed 50 lbs. (e.g. moving office furnishing etc.), work overhead on and off a ladder, and climb stairs repeatedly.
Must not be actively receiving services from Guild Services and must not have received services within the last two years.

Education and Experiences:
- High School Education Diploma or GED or Equivalent.
- Post high school education in maintenance or related field with 5 years “hands on” experience.
- Related certification(s) and training with 2-3 years of experience.
