Job Description:
This position will support plant operations and maintenance in the development and management of an effective Life Safety Program. This position will coordinate, measure, monitor, analyze, evaluate, document and report on compliance with regulatory requirements. Works with NFPA, CMS, Joint Commission, and various state agencies.
Work experience:
3 years of recent experience with regulatory survey processes of The Joint Commission in areas of Life Safety and Environment of Care. Computer experience including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Working knowledge of the Life Safety Code, OSHA, NFPA, and other applicable standards and demonstrated track record of implementing programs to comply with regulations, codes and standards
Education Qualifications:
Associates degree required.
Licensure/Certification Qualifications:
Certified Healthcare Safety Profession, Certified Fire Protection Specialist, Certified Healthcare Environmental Manager, Certified Healthcare Facility Manager, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
