The person in this position has the responsibility to coordinate the variety of services including, but not limited to: individual finances, community involvement, program services, family involvement, education/vocational programs, health care, and household management. The CSS is responsible to assist the supervisor in maintaining consistency in programming, individual care, and communication with support team members.

CSS is responsible for duties of the supervisor during all direct care shifts in all service settings. CSS is expected to be knowledgeable of various service settings across the organization and may be scheduled to work in both residential and community-based services. CSS staff will be expected to perform all duties consistent with and appropriate to the service setting in which they are working.
