About This Role:
The IHS Program Intern will observe and execute IHS functions that support the Clients at Accra by shadowing, participating, and learning about the various IHS functions.
About You:
- Working towards a degree in Human Services or other related programs.
- Accra is looking for an enthusiastic individual, who is eager to learn and grow in the home health care field.
- Demonstrate organizational, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Advanced communication skills both written and oral.
- Maintain a high standard of professional courtesy, flexibility, and confidentiality while working in a fast-paced office environment, independently and as a team member.
- Must pass a background study with the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
- Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes.
- Process IHS service referrals, including answering questions, gathering information, and initial client set up in internal client database.
- Assist all field staff with problem solving and schedules.
- Assist with maintaining program required documentation, including processing of IHS client Annual and Intake paperwork of IHS and Accra related processes and procedures.
- Support development of IHS and Accra related processes and procedures.
- Assist with other projects as assigned.
- Assis with administrative duties (if in office).
